Pay App connection with Afosto OMS

With the Pay.nl integration in Afosto, you can easily activate and manage payment methods within your sales channels. This guide walks you through the setup step by step.

Step 1: Create an account at Pay.nl

Go to https://signup.pay.nl/?partnerCode=AFOSTO and create an account. Alternatively, you can enter the partner code AFOSTO during the signup process.

Step 2: Enable desired payment methods in Pay

Log in to your Pay.nl account and activate the payment methods you want to offer (e.g., iDEAL, Credit Card, PayPal, Klarna, etc.).

Step 3: Configure payment methods in the Afosto Admin

Follow these steps in the Afosto Admin app:

  1. Go to the Admin app via the button in the top-right corner of your screen.
  2. Navigate to Payment > Payment Methods via the menu on the left.
  3. Click the "Add" button (top right) to create a new payment method.

Configure the payment method

  • Select a payment method from the list (iDEAL, PayPal, Klarna, etc.).
  • Enter a name – shown to you and your customers during checkout.
  • Add a description and customer instructions – displayed during the checkout process.
  • Translate the name, description, and instructions if your store supports multiple languages.
  • Set up fees (fixed or percentage-based), and optionally add rules based on order value or payment method.

Examples:

  • Fixed fee: €1 per transaction
  • Percentage fee: 2% of the order total

Save your payment method

Check:

  • Name, description, instructions
  • Translations
  • Fees and conditions
  • Status set to Active

Click "Save" to add the payment method.

⚠️ Make sure the payment method is also active within your PSP account.

After saving the payment method:

  1. In the ‘Provider’ column, click ‘Link’
  2. Choose:
  3. Link existing integration
  4. Create new integration

You only need to create one integration per PSP. You can reuse it across multiple payment methods.
